As an event organiser, you have many responsibilities to your guests, performers, staff and the local community – and one is doing everything in your power to ensure that your event is safe. We all know how critical event security is but this is not a role that can be carried out by ‘just anyone’.

Understanding the event, interacting appropriately with people, crowd management and other event security functions should be carried out by SIA licensed security staff.
